5 Tips For Welcoming Spring

#1 No Eating Out

Pack your lunch and meal prep as much as you can! Why? So you can have some of that extra cash for all of your fun springtime adventures or summer travels. Plus, cooking at home can be a mindful exercise that can help you de-stress.

#2 Clean Out Your Closet

This is a classic and I think it still holds a lot of value. So I try stuff on and donate items or give more sentimental items to friends who might want them. If I truly can’t part with something I give it an expiration date and if I don’t wear it by then, it’s gone!

#3 Read Tarot

You can do a reading based on the month ahead or pick three cards for a past, present, and future reading. Readings are a great way to get a feel for what the next couple of weeks will bring. It’s also entertaining and an activity that doesn’t involve a screen which we could all benefit from!

#4. Practice Gratitude

Instead of focusing on all the things that you haven’t done, can you take a moment to pause and give yourself some credit for all of the hard work that you’re already doing? When you wake up overwhelmed with responsibility, consider three things you are grateful for.

5. Call Your Friends And Family

It’s time to emerge from hibernation and reach out to your friends and family. Go out to brunch, get some coffee, or do goat yoga! If you’re like me, it takes a lot of energy to schedule and show up to social events. Try not to get in your own way, because the memories are always worth a tricky parking situation.
